It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cris L. Sauer of Madison, Indiana, who passed away on May 15, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sauer and Gladys Sauer (Moore); and his siblings, Ralph Sauer and Dorothy "Dottie" Gow. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Oakley Price of Madison; his son Wesley Sauer (Michelle) of Madison; his stepson Robbie Price (Amber) of Shelbyville, Kentucky; his granddaughter Emma Sauer of Madison; his stepgrandchildren, Dustin Dean of Dupont, Karley Adams of Milton and Katelynn Roark of Dupont; the mother of his child Shelia Sauer of Madison; and his nieces, Mary Elizabeth Harmon, Cindy Rawlins, Teresa Scott and Gay Harmon.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Madison Municipal Airport Events Inc. or the Madison-Jefferson County Animal Shelter. Contributions may be made at Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
