We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2023, at the age of 62, Chuck Vernon Wright Abney Jr. of Madison, Indiana, born in Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Chilton Abney and Vernon Wright Abney, Sr.; his mother-in-law Jackie Eades Sipe; and his grandparents, Paul, Amy Chilton, Vernon and Virginia Abney.
He is survived by: his wife Bonita Mae Sipe Abney of Madison, Indiana; his children, Alicia Hendricks (Chris) of Mooresville, Derin Storm of Lexington and Amy Stephens (Bailey) of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Hailey, Luke, Trinity, Gage, Kade and Casen; his siblings, Amy Johnson (Rob) of Campbellsburg, Kentucky and Neil Abney of Campbellsburg, Kentucky; his uncles, Rodney Abney (Becci) of Machesney Park and Roger Chilton (Janice) of Campbellsburg, Kentucky; and his aunt Linda Chilton of Lexington, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
