He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Cox and Rosella Cox (Kasper); his wife Janet Pearson of Mary's Catholic Church; and his sons, Keith Cox and Chip Cox.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Wehner (Mike) of Madison, Leslie Jenkins (Mike) of Louisville and Mike Cox (Lori) of Campbellsburg; his sister Mary Jane Furnish of Madison; his grandchildren, Joey Bowling, Stephanie Sentz, Jenny Rhine, Amie Pesek, Cassaundra Hasse, Justin Henry, Keith Cox, Ashley Cox, Kalynn Cox, Michaela Cox, Laney Cox, Chip Cox, Gracie Nolan and Alila Nolan; and his great grandchildren, Keely, Alex, Cooper, Maggie, Caleb, Charlie, Chloe, Cayden, Lilly, Kyleigh, Brady, McKenzie, Hailey, Glenn, Megan, Eliza and Otto.
