He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Swihart Rippey and Hisle Stanley Rippey; and his stepgrandson Justin Blankenship. He is survived by: his wife Gloria McFall Ripey of Madison, Indiana; his children, John Rippey of Madison, Dan Rippey (Robin) of Burr Oake, Michigan, Tina Blankenship (Jeff) of Turners Station and Hope Rippey of Indianapolis, Indiana; his grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, Kristen, Michael, Brett, Richard, Miles and Iris; and his siblings, Adie Ellen Moore (Ronald) of Florida and Rip Rippey of Sturgis, Michigan. He is also survived by grandchildren, 11-great grandchildren, and one step great great grandchildren.
