He is survived by: his son Carl Wade; his wife Barbara Jean Archer Schaum of Madison, Indiana; his children, Stacey Banta (Casey) of Madison, Indiana and C. Wade Schaum of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, James Robert Cox (Lydia), Megan Banta, Alexia Banta and Sydnie Banta; his sister Judith McIntosh; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Archer (Diana) of Howe and Jeffrey Archer (Janice) of Eckerty, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
