Bernice Spurlock Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Spurlock of Madison, Indiana, born in Letcher, Kentucky, who passed away on October 20, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Bernice departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Bernice. Though Bernice may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Eldridge and Marie Eldridge (Caudill); her husband Elmer Spurlock; her daughter Joyce Spurlock Robinson; and her sister Erma Roark.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda Stanley of Madison, Sharon Blair (PJ) of Madison and Ellen Spurlock of Osgood; and her brother Hershel Eldridge (Geraldine) of Milan. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given in honor of Bernice to Autism/St. Jude Children's Hospital.
