He is survived by: his children, Justin Sowers (Katie) of Madison, Timothy Sowers (Heather Wooten) of Madison, Breanna Mikesell (Dane Youngblood) of Elkhart, Indiana and Rosalyn Mikesell of Elkhart, Indiana; his grandchildren, Waylon, Bryer, Kaisleigh, Hudson Sowers, Braydon and Bryson Wooten; and his siblings, Bobby Fletcher of Newport, Danny Sowers of North Webster, Indiana, Christine Oliver (Ed) of San Diego, Califorina and Jewel Sowers of North Vernon, Indiana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Vail Chapel (117 Holt Dr, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1415 Msh N Ln, Madison, IN 47250).
