With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anthony P. Hertz of Madison, Indiana, who passed away on March 15, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Catherine Rousch Hertz and Charles Nicholas Hertz; his wife Alice Gay Hartman Hertz; his brother Charles F. Hertz; his sister-in-law Norma Jean; his brothers, William E. Hertz and Francis W. "Petie" Hertz; his siblings-in-law, Lee, Thomas and James Frank Hartman; his parents-in-law, J. B. Hartman and Anna Jeanette Hall Hartman; and his grandson Jeremy Matthew Lanham.
He is survived by: his children, David Hertz (Angie) of Madison, Nick Hertz of Madison, Indiana, Joni Hertz Lanham (Ron) of Madison and Laura Jo Hertz Black (Robert) of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Jessica Flint (Ben), Justin Lanham (Jennifer), Katelyn Hertz, Jacob Hertz and Ashton Amodio (Dom); his brother Joe Hertz (Deanna) of Madison, Indiana; his sister-in-law Nancy Hertz of Cincinnati, Ohio; and his sisters, Patricia Ann Hertz, Marian Louise Lynch and Wilma Margaret "Susie" McKay. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; his sisters.
