She was predeceased by: her parents, Holmes Cretsinger and Catherina Cretsinger (Koontz); her husband Lester Colwell; her brother Lewis Cretsinger; and her great grandchildren, Denten and Denlee Hardebeck.
She is survived by: her children, David Colwell (Becki) of Madison and Geneva Couch (Joe) of North Vernon; her siblings, Francis "Chris" Cretsinger (Catherine) of Waterloo, Mary Bower (Jeff) of Columbia City and Trisha Phelps of Wellington, Arizona; and her grandchildren, Dariyn Colwell (Gabe Arnold) of North Vernon, Cole Young (Jessica) of North Vernon, Joshua Combest of North Vernon, Amber Barton (Caleb) of North Vernon, Madisyn Robbins (Bret) of Commiskey, Lucas Colwell of Commiskey, Kirsten Lynch (Jason) of Austin and Shalyn Burton (Jared) of Paris Crossing. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
