He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Levere Halterman and Opal Irene Lewis; his daughter Kimberly Halterman; and his brother Lewis Halterman (Jean). He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Halterman; his sons, Stephen Halterman and David Halterman (Lisa); his grandchildren, Stephanie, Joshua Halterman (Jessie), Joel Halterman (Sterling) and Jenna Carr (Jonathan); his brother Willis Halterman (Clymenia); and his sister-in-law Shirley Halterman. He is also survived by nine great-granddaughters, and one great-great granddaughter.
