He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Floyd and Chloe G. Walker Floyd; his wife Kathy; his daughter Courtney Lynn Floyd; and his siblings, Grace Mills, Betty Harper, Aretha Mills, Ruth Carrothers and Dale Floyd.

He is survived by: his son David H. Floyd (Martha) of Denver; his grandchildren, Lucas Floyd, Colin Floyd, Megan Conrad and Tyler Conrad; his sister Adella Wilson of South Bend; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Floyd of Rochester.
