She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence E. Pfeiffer and Myrtle H. Morwiser Pfeiffer; her daughter Rebecca A. Swafford; and her siblings, Donald Pfeiffer, Gene Pfeiffer, Lamar Pfeiffer, Marilyn Miller, Doris Grass and Helen DeMien.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda J. Otto (Bob), Brent L. DeMien (Macy) and Jay E. DeMien; her grandchildren, Andrew Rudd, Charity Davis, McKenzie Shaffer (Trent), Erik Otto (Jennifer), Ryan DeMien (Megan), Loren DeMien (Joni), Jessie Swafford, Brandy Swafford and Amy Swafford; her sister Joan Tharp (Bob) of South Bend; and her siblings-in-law, Keith Miller of Elkhart and Marge Pfeiffer of Florida. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
