He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Edwin Bilyeu and Lois Juanita Bilyeu (Thomas); and his brothers, Raymond Bilyeu, William "Bump" Bilyeu and Aaron Bilyeu.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Bilyeu of Lyons, IN; his children, Leslie Carmickle (Mervil) of New Albany, IN, Sarah Morrow of Hutsonville, IL, Suzanne Bilyeu of Sullivan, IN, Steve Yontz (Kathleen) of Hagerstown, IN, Brayden Bilyeu of Lyons, IN and Camden Bilyeu of Lyons, IN; his grandchildren, Grayson Carmickle, Caleb Kelm, Austin Kelm, Hayden Kelm, Xavier Yontz, Kodi Yontz (Kayla) and Aleesha Study (Bobby); and his brothers, Phillip Bilyeu (Carolyn) of Avon, IN and Bobby Bilyeu (Wanda) of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Thomas to help with funeral expenses.
