With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Gail Bredeweg of Lyons, Indiana, born in Linton, Indiana, who passed away on March 11, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eric Von and Rebecca Fern Thornton (Page); her spouse Bert J. Bredeweg; her children, Deborah Brinker (Mike), Thomas Bredeweg (Linda), Sarah Keitel (Dale) and James Bredeweg (Cami); her grandchildren, Zachary Brinker (Katie), Jillmarie Williams (Scott), Benjamin Brinker, Danielle Ogilvie (Jon), Nicole Elgin (Jacob), Natalie Keitel (Seth Whalen), Nadine Powell (Andrew), Haley Castillo (Kenneth), Mieke Vanderheijden (Steven Van Rossen), Megan Brust (Fred) and Morgan Bredeweg (Dylan Emmons); her great grandchildren, Cameron, Nolan, Haylee, Aadyn, Zion, Melodee, Lincoln, Wesley, Justin, Ellie, Grady, Leland, Amelia, Maarten, Brecht, Hanne, Tucker and Oliver; her brothers, Keith Thornton (Doris) and Eric Thornton (June); her siblings-in-law, Marie Huber (Hase), Pearl Andis (Ralph) and Phil Bredeweg (EllaRose); and her close friends, Nancy Albertson, Mary Gravemeier, Jenny Thaxton, Londyn Goodman and Jean DeVine. She was also cherished by 12 nephews and sixteen nieces.
