He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Vingis and Dorothy Vingis (Rankin); and his wife Sheryl Vingis. He is survived by: his former wife Sheryl L. "Sherry" Bradfield; his daughter Shelly Vingis (Erik Kreffel) of Indianapolis; and his sisters, Mary Jo Zachow (Dick), Patricia Jacobs of Bicknell, Betsy McGrath (Dan) of Connecticut, Janeen (Frank), Bronie Stiles of Vincennes and Denise Summit of Oaktown.
