She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Hobbs and Viola Hobbs (Light); and her sisters, Virginia "Jenny" Hobbs, Carol Hobbs and Mary Hobbs.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Starnes of Lyons; her sons, Bill Secrest (Jennifer) of Jasonville and Bobby Secrest of Bloomfield; her stepchildren, Diane Dale (Andy) of Linton and Robert Starnes II of Lyons; her grandchildren, Terra Secrest, Robert Secrest, Scott Secrest, Tenisha Secrest and Brileigh Secrest; her stepgrandchildren, Emma Bowersock, Elizabeth Cobb, Michael Drogich, Jr. and Gunner Starnes; and her sister Roma "Peachy" Blanton. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
