He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Newton Dowdy and Ollie Edith Dowdy (Waggoner); his children, Cindy Riggins (Grant), Gregg Dowdy (Dianna) and Ron Dowdy (Editha); his former wife Wilma L. Dowdy (Blevens); and his son James Douglas "Doug" Dowdy.
The family wishes in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Lyons Church of Christ in Albert's name.
