She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Gwaltney and Rosetta Gwaltney (Rainey); and her husband Doyle. She is survived by: her son Bill (Winnie); her grandson Ben (Stephanie); and her great grandchild Addy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
