We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Hal Otto Kattau Jr. of Lynnville, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Jacelyn; his parents, Harold O. Kattau, Sr. and Nova Leah Kattau (Davis); and his sister Marcia. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Elizabeth; his brother Thomas Lee Kattau (Jill); his siblings-in-law, Dale Tepe (Julia), Luann Kroeger (David) and Julia Memmer (Mark); his sons, Nicholas and Blake; his nephew Brent David Kattau; his children, Layla, Marley, Alan Kroeger (Penny), Clint Tepe (Alison), Ryan and Chris Memmer; his nieces, Kendra Lee (Jason) and Angela Kroeger; and also Alexis.
The ministry continued past the twelve weeks and in September of 2001 directorship of the seminar passed to Hal under the name Hope of Jeremiah Prison Ministry, and it continued under his headship virtually every Friday night until the pandemic closed the prison to visitors in 2020.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
