He was predeceased by: his mother Faye Hargrave; his brother Larry Hargrave; and his niece Courtney Nelson. He is survived by: his father Ralph Hargrave; his wife Kathy Hargrave (Campbell); his daughter Libby; his son-in-law Derrick Butcher; his son Evan; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Hargrave; his grandsons, Dane, Brandt Butcher and Bruce Gregory Hargrave; and his siblings, Terry Lenn, Diane Hames, Kristie Barth and Karan Barnhill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St. Clement Catholic Church or Cancer Pathways.
