He is survived by: his daughter Karen Roberts of Perrysburg, OH; his brother Paul Bales of Winchester, IN; and his granddaughters, Tamara Smith, Kimberly Dempsey and Amber Davis. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
