She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Resler and Mildred Resler (Coryell); her son Donald Skeens; her brother Albert Resler; her siblings-in-law, Leroy Copenhaver and Linda "Cindy" Resler; and her nephew Bill Resler.

She is survived by: her husband Bernardo; her sons, Johnny Sandoval (Carrie) of Lynn, IN, Alan Jester and Ronnie Darnell; her siblings, Paul Resler (Janet) of Portland, IN, Earl Resler of Winchester, IN, Richard Resler (Deb) of Winchester, IN, Marvin Resler (Vickie) of Modoc, IN, Alice Copenhaver of Greensfork, IN, Millie Reed (Jeff) of Madison, AL and Yvonne Williams (Curtis) of Palms Dale, FL; and her grandchildren, Paige and Coleton Hale. She is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews; and several other family and friends.
