With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike R. Pickens of Lucerne, Indiana, born in Logansport, Indiana, who passed away on December 19, 2021 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Pickens and L. Irene Pickens (Swayzee); and his sister Misha Nies. He is survived by: his wife Lily May Townsend; and his children, Michael Robert Pickens Jr. (Morning) of Peru, Shane Michael Pickens (Angela) of Kokomo and Nicole Pickens of Houston, TX. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 nieces, 2 nephews, and several cousins.

Memorials may be made to the Metea Baptist Church.
