It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Unger of Lucerne, Indiana, who passed away on May 19, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter R. Unger and Carrie J. Lemmon Unger; and his son Chad Unger (Kathryn). He is survived by: his wife Peggy L. Sands; his daughter Edie Eckelbarger (Rick); his grandchildren, Chance, Kasey, Kennedy Ault, Ethan and Carlee Unger; his great grandchild Soren Edward Ault; his friend Janie Taylor; and his siblings-in-law, Ben Sands, Sue Sands, Donna Sands, Geraldine Landes and Jo DeHaven.
