He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Kender and Mabel Kender (Swank); and his siblings, Elmer Kender and Carol Byrd. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Kender (Larson); his children, Ted Kender (Cathy), Nancy Robinson (Eugene), Dan Kender (Judith) and Julie Kisela (Jerry); his brother Ken Kender (Laurie); and his siblings-in-law, Dorsey Byrd (Nancy) and Betty Kender. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren;10 great grandchildren.
