She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father John Govert; her parent-in-law Mayme Miller; her husband Paul Searle; her children, Patrick (Carol) of Wichita, KS, Paula Swinyer (Larry) of Champaign, IL, Peggy Wall (Fred) of Otsego, MI, Mary Searle of Chicago, IL, Clare Harmston (Chuck) of Menomonie, WI, John (Mindy) of Elmhurst, IL, Kathy Brann (Bob) of Corydon, IN, George (Lorrie) of Schaumburg, IL, Colette Sturm (Dan) of Brookfield, CT, Regina Balash (Bob) of Merrillville, IN, Joan DeWael Chatterson (Mark) of Greenfield, IN, Beth Hall (Ken) of Lafayette, IN, Barb Houpt of Portage, IN, Joe (Suzanne) of Scottsdale, AZ, Mike (Jen) of Fountain Hills, AZ, Rob (Arlene) of Chicago, IL and Ann Rosing (Jason) of Tempe, AZ; her siblings, Evelyn Swaim, John, Earl, Lorraine Herod and Lester; her brothers-in-law, Louis and Durand; and her children-in-law, Bruce DeWael and Nora Searle. She was also cherished by 57 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren and 20 nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID restrictions, to keep everyone safe and to Honor that Pat's "family" extended far beyond biological bond, there will be a large celebration of life when we can safely gather this summer.
In lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Edward Catholic Church.
