In the vast expanse of eternity, Michael shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Michael farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Marian. He is survived by: his wife Lisa; his son Kody Kemp (Megan Smolek) of Hammond; and his siblings, Dawn Meadows (Rich) of Perrysville, IN, Julie Riechert of Lowell and Chris Shelhammer (Debi) of Lowell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services (604 E Commercial Ave, Lowell, IN 46356). A memorial service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
