He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Echterling and Melda Echterling; and his siblings, Mark Echterling, Cynthia Echterling, Matthew Echterling and Patti Perez.
He is survived by: his wife Bonita "Bonnie" Echterling; his children, Brenna Echterling and Chris Echterling (Jaime); and his sisters, Laurie Echterling and Cathy Petriella.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Burdan Funeral Home and Crematory (12901 Wicker Ave, Cedar Lake, IN 46303).
