He was predeceased by: his wife Marianne Van Laten; his siblings, Ann Kok (late Rudy) and Claude Van Laten (late Dorothy); and his parents, Cornelius Laten and Anna Van Laten.
He is survived by: his children, John Van Laten (Heidi), Cathi Davis (Jim), George Van Laten (Deb), Donna Glick (Clinton) and Sue Krygsheld (Tom); and his sister Judy Kooy (Art). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
