He was predeceased by: his brother LeRoy Popyk (Sandy); and his parents, John P. Popyk and Marian Popyk. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Popyk; his children, John Paul Popyk II (Ashley) and Kristina Petersen; and his sisters, Elaine Stamate (late Nick) and Diana Douglas (Paul).
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Ln, Dyer, IN 46311). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
