He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Wilma. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Jenny, Joe and Jamie; and his siblings, Patty Kvachkoff (Doug), Tom Ellen (Jackie), John, Joan Polk (Eric) and Ann Berger (Brian). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
