He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mitsch and Bernice Mitsch (Nagel); his brother James Mitsch; and his nephew Joe Mitsch. He is survived by: his wife Susan Mitsch (Peterson); his children, Amanda Iliff (Brandon), Tom Mitsch (Diana), Kate Mitsch, Robert Mitsch (Elisha) and Jeffrey Mitsch (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Madelyn, Clara, Henry Iliff, Haley, Liam Mitsch, Annalese Mitsch and Genevieve Mitsch; and his siblings, Joyce Streveler, Gerald Mitsch (Luella) and Charlotte Fagen (Jack). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
