It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary King of Lowell, Indiana, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James King and Norabel King. He is survived by: his wife Catherine (Cathy); his children, Gary King (Juliana), Tammy DeSomer (Timothy), Karen King (Jason Kreke) and Ryan King; his grandchildren, Heather Weidmen (Steve), Jermey King, Joshua King, Brandon DeSomer (Katie), Bryan DeSomer, Matthew DeSomer (Mallory), Morgan DeSomer (Christopher Stroh) and Lennox King; his great grandchildren, Daniel, Lily, Luke Weidmen and Sadie DeSomer; and his sister Barbara Foetisch. He is also survived by many sibling in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services (604 E Commercial Ave, Lowell, IN 46356). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at the Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery (11333 S Central Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453).
