It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas David Balsano of Lowell, Indiana, born in Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on March 8, 2021, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Benjamin, Monica Linton, Sylvester and Nadine Balsano. He is survived by: his parents, Gordon Balsano and Mary Linton Balsano; his wife Amy Balsano; his children, Allie, Luke and Carleigh; his sister Christina Balsano Wichmann; his brother-in-law Curt Wichmann; his nieces, Madeleine and Genevieve; his nephew Peter; his aunts and uncles, Bruce, Chris Balsano of Bonita Springs, Florida, Belinda Balsano of Kankakee, Kathleen and Raymond Fitzgerald of Gainesville, Florida; his parents-in-law, Donald and Claudia Hertz of Bourbonnais, Illinois; his sisters-in-law, Brooke Deatherage of Bourbonnais and Dawn Hertz Spears of Bradley, IL; and his nephew Collin Hertz.
