He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Fuerstenberg and Jeanne Fuerstenberg; and his mother-in-law Ellen "Muggy" Hernandez. He is survived by: his wife Ali Fuerstenberg (Raavel); his son Nyle Fuerstenberg; his granddaughter Liliana Fuerstenberg; his stepchildren, Gage, Zane and Jazmine Stowell; his sisters, Wendy Pitcock (Ryan), Angie Hernandez (Rob) and Dawn Elsbree (Keith); his nieces and nephews, Trey, Seth Pitcock, Carmen, Olivia and Stella Hernandez; his father-in-law Tony Hernandez (Cindy); and his brothers-in-law, David Hernandez, TJ Hernandez and Mike Raavel.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to a college fund established for Liliana Fuerstenberg.
