He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Shamy and Doris Shamy (Halifko). He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Shamy; his daughters, Chelsea Shamy (Kylee) and Jessica Anderson; his grandchildren, Trey and Taylor; his daughter Susan Shamy; his granddaughter Morgan; his daughter Connie Majeski (Robert); his grandchildren, Bobby and Jenna; and his siblings, Gary Shamy (Lucy), Cynthia A. Shamy and Sheralee Shamy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
