He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Horsting and Ruth Mandabach (Mattingly); his children, David Hill and Joetta Horsting; and his siblings, Rita Martin (John), Jerry Horsting (Kay), Betty Williams (Mike) and Donald Eugene Horsting.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Horsting of Loogootee; his children, Tammy Hill of Shoals, Tim Hill of Shoals, Amy Fellers (Brent) of Loogootee and Nina Cook of Loogootee; and his siblings, Bob Horsting (Marilyn) of Shoals, Frank Horsting (Theresa) of Washington, Joyce Ashcraft (Mark) of Vincennes and Patty Melvin (Jerry) of Washington. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or Wounded Warriors Project.
