Vivian A. O'Brien Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian A. O'Brien of Loogootee, Indiana, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Ruby Ellen Collins (Stalcup); her husband Patrick O'Brien; her father Homer Collins; her brothers, Robert Dale Collins, Dean Collins and Homer "Jack" Collins; and her son-in-law Bill Armstrong.
She is survived by: her children, Naydine Armstrong of Loogootee, Richard A. Fuhrman (Cindy) of Loogootee and Linda Peschel (Dennis) of New Ulm, TX; and her stepchildren, Mike D. O'Brien (Julie) of Holland, Kelly S. O'Brien (Stephen) of Loogootee and Chris L. O'Brien (Jennifer) of Stendal. She is also survived by 22 Grandchildren, 28 Great- Grandchildren, 5 Great- Great- Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Blake Funeral Home (300 Church St, Loogootee, IN 47553). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the St. Martin Cemetery in memory of Vivian.
