It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Garrett of Loogootee, Indiana, who passed away on August 5, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharon Garrett to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Louis Gibson; her husband Larry Garrett; her parent Laverne Gibson (Smiley); her brothers, Junior Gibson (Annabell) and Woodie Gibson; and her niece Sherry Gibson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ed Gibson (Judy) of Indianapolis and Norma Cochran of Danville; and her nieces and nephews, Vicky Bauernfiend, Katherine Bishop, Barbara Shaffer, Rene Johnson, Shelle Gerhart, Laura Downey, Rick Gibson, Mark Gibson of Randy Cochran, T. J, Steve Cochran and Robbie Cochran. She is also survived by several great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Loogootee Methodist Church.
