He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah Jane Kays; and his mother Mabel Summers. He is survived by: his sister Rosalie Abner; his children, Lana Burch (Tony Smith), Brent Prather (Brenda), Kerry Prather (Cindy) and Jill Prather; his grandchildren, Brandy Mackie (Rick), Brett Deckard (Josh), Brooke Willis (Zac), Katie Gillaspy (Nick) and Robbie Prather; and his great grandchildren, Alexis Mackie, Aiden Mackie, Riley Deckard, Drew Deckard, Parker Willis and Paige Willis.
