He was predeceased by: his brothers-in-law, William Bosley, Paul McGiveney and Howard Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hoffmann of Loogootee, IN; his children, Sonia Simmons (Charlie) of Indianapolis, IN and Byron Hoffmann of Loogootee, IN; his granddaughter Jessica Simmons; and his siblings, Margaret Bosley McGiveney, Doraetha Roberts and Karl E. Hoffman (Becky).
