He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian Arvin and Magdalen Arvin (Strange); his nephew Adam Arvin; and his brother-in-law Tim Carrico. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Arvin of Loogootee; his children, Carrie Arvin of Loogootee and Corey Arvin (Ashley) of Plainfield; his grandchildren, Izabella Spears, Kirsten Spears, Maxwell Arvin and Luke Arvin; his siblings, Ron Arvin (Carol) of Otwell, Gary Arvin (Beth) of Loogootee, Brenda Carrico of Loogootee, Karen Mathias of Loogootee, Paul Arvin (Judy) of Loogootee, Diane Dillon (John) of Oolitic, Jeff Arvin of Loogootee and Brian Arvin (Joel Nitti) of Franklin, Tennessee; his aunt Linda Hunter of Loogootee; and his uncle Paul Leo Strange of Loogootee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
