She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Payne and Helen Payne (Qualkenbush); her brother Bill Payne; her niece Jennifer Payne; and her nephew Norman Lagenour.
She is survived by: her children, Grace Arvin (Rex), Brent Hardwick (Carlee), Brian Hardwick, Jacki Smith, Sheila Elliott (Bill) and Rhonda Hardwick; her sisters, Sharon Chaney, Doris Lagenour, Rebekah Jenkins (Mark) and Rachel Sutton (John); her grandchildren, Sarah Mullen, Kale Smith, Leah Huey, Garrett Smith, Graden Hardwick, Hannah Hardwick, Vanessa Stovall, Ian Elliott, Bryce Hayworth, Helen Hayworth and Carol Spears; and her friends, Shirley Crays, Martha Greene and Judy Yarnell. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Loogootee Public Library.
