He is survived by: his parents, Roy Pannell and Nancy Pannell (Lee) of Loogootee; his wife Michelle Troutman of Loogootee; his children, Meagan Louise Friede (Jacob) of Terre Haute, Gregory Scott Pannell of Loogootee, Shelby Renee Hill (Matthew) of Jasper and Chelsea Rae Smith (Jordan Brant) of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Areanna Nicole Friede, Zoey Renee Friede, Talen David Hill, Stanislaw Douglas McConnell and Madeline Louise Hill; his siblings, Nanette Michelle Hembree (Aaron) of Loogootee, Angela Louise Dillon of Odon and Cori Lee Lukomski (Tim) of Loogootee; and his brother-in-law Stephen Paul Troutman (Stephanie) of Washington.
