He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Riggins and Maude Riggins; his wife Mary Rosalie (Beasley); his granddaughter Mallory Riggins (Jim); and his daughter-in-law Tammie Riggins (Mark).
He is survived by: his children, Mark of Murray, Kentucky, Diane Vaupel (John) of Bramble, Indiana and Jim (Lisa) of Bloomington, Indiana; his grandchildren, Chelsea Riggins (Mark), Andrea Wilmes (Nick), Ryan (Kaylyn), Vaupel (Diane), Ben Riggins (Hanna) and Clay (Aubrey); his great grandchildren, Grace and Cooper Riggins (Ben); his brother Roger Riggins (Karin) of Arvada, Colorado; and his sister-in-law Liz Bordenet (Terry) of Lafayette, Indiana..
