We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2023, at the age of 95, Margaret Esther Walton of Loogootee, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Burch and Beatrice Burch (Seals); her husband Loren Walton; her siblings, Tommy Burch (Edith), John Burch (Olive), Joe Burch (Eileen), Charles Burch (Bernice), Rita Abplanalp (Gil), Jim Burch and Eleanor Wildman (Omer); and her children-in-law, Randy Abbott and Lana Walton.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Wade (Mike) of Loogootee, Beverly Christley (Larry) of Crane, Larry Walton of Loogootee, Patsy Knepp (Shorty) of Montgomery, Roger Walton (Beth) of Westfield, Joy Abbott of Arizona, Mark Walton (Mary Ann) of Elletsville and Steve Walton of Loogootee; and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Burch of Loogootee and Janet Walton of Loogootee. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. John Catholic Cemetery or Barr-Reeve Scholarship.
