With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John William Bowling (Loogootee, Indiana), who passed away on September 5, 2019 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Bowling and Bridget Bowling (Mattingly); his wife Ardis; his son Pat Bowling; his grandsons, Benjamin and Ryan Street; his great grandchild Dominic Wilson; and his siblings, Margie Sherfick, Dorothy Hortie, Jim, Jack and Lester Bowling.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Bowling and Marsha Street (Terry); his brother Don Bowling (Patty); his grandchildren, Karen Wilson (Phillip Norris), Jeff Bowling (Kara), Stephanie Powell (Rob) and Kyle Street (Bobi); his great grandchildren, Ben, Ayden, Cade Wilson, Patrick, Lauren, Alex, Landon Bowling, Christina Rayhill (Cory), Ashleigh Smith (Ethan), Andrew, Annalise Powell, Gabriel, Levi and Ryan Street; and his great great grandchild Hudson Rayhill.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church for masses.
