He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Kemp and Mary Kemp (Richer); his daughter Betty Jean Raber; his brothers, Joseph Kemp (Barbara), Leroy Kemp (Mary Jane) and Peter Kemp Jr.; and his sister-in-law Naomi Kemp.
He is survived by: his wife Ida Mae Kemp; his children, Delbert Ray Kemp (Ruth Ann), Lonnie Kemp (Lydia Catherine), Sharon Raber (Roman), Mary Catherine Knepp (Ivan Lee), Marvin Kemp (Delilah Jean), David Lee Kemp (Barbara Jean), John Eldon Kemp (Mary Jean), Lester Kemp (Bonita Rose) and Ernest Eugene Kemp; his son-in-law Owen Raber; his siblings, Lydia Ann Wittmer (Richard), Amos Kemp (Delilah), Katie Yoder (Alva), Raymond Kemp (Catherine), Wilma Wagler (Ira), Mary Margaret Wagler (Sam) and Darrell Kemp (Marilyn); and his sister-in-law Delilah Kemp. He is also survived by 54 grandchildren, 113 great-grandchildren, and 2 foster great-grandchildren.
