It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H. Cornett of Loogootee, Indiana, born in Brodhead, Kentucky, who passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cornett and Elizabeth Cornett; his mother-in-law S. Marie Lane; his stepfather Cleve Wilmot; his children, Betty Lou Cornett, Shirley M. Harding, James L Cornett, Roger E Cornett and Randy Scott Cornett; and his sons-in-law, Wilson Tow and Larry Harding.
He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Tow of Indianapolis, Richard Cornett (Margie) of Loogootee, Becky Truelove of Owensboro, Sally Burch of Shoals and Shari Flippins (James) of Santa Claus; his daughter-in-law Pamela Cornett of Plainfield; his siblings, Martha Jane Gabberd (Eck) of Eaton, OH, Donna Roby and Frank Wilmot of Eaton, OH; and his grandsons, Kory Crowder, Todd Harding, Casey Cornett, Chan Cornett, Brandon Bauernfiend, Steve and Derek Tow. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren.
