He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Martin and Goldie S. Martin (White); his wife Jan Martin; his grandson Ian Martin; his sister Bonnie Davis; his son-in-law Mike Catt; and his stepson Terry Oliver.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbe Osborne (Marvin) of Loogootee, Jacquie Catt of Vincennes, Brenda Edwards (Jerry) of Loogootee and Falicia Hollaway (Tony) of Loogootee; his grandchildren, Carl Catt (Barbara), Kena Vieck (Nick), James Edwards (Jessica), Natalee Edwards, Sarah Knepp (Kreigh), Whitney Edwards, Breanna and Becca Hollaway; and his stepdaughters, Jeannie Pope, Becky Oliver and Angie Pittman. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
